I moved to Melbourne in January 2018 and instantly fell in love with it. After dabbling in photography back home in Canberra with my iPhone, I decided it was time to buy my first DSLR camera and haven’t looked back since.

I found a whole new level of passion for photography after I partook in my first ‘Youmebourne’ photowalk. Meeting and shooting with like minded, friendly and inspirational people really helped drive home that photography is something I want to pursue as a career.

If I could give any advice to anyone looking to take up photography, it would be that you don’t need the best gear to take a good photo. Shoot things/places that you enjoy and make you happy. Connect with people that inspire you and push you to become the best person you can be and most importantly, have fun with it.
